Achieving Nirvana: Consumer Experience Meets Consumer Intimacy.
The buzz: “…Customer-intimate companies are willing to spend now to build customer loyalty for the long term” (hbr.org/1993/01/). As retailers react to the market’s instant gratification expectations, the pressure to move closer to customers physically and digitally is straining their legacy supply chain processes that were built for mass efficiencies. How can retailers create a frictionless supply chain with outsourced providers and determine the right set of priorities amid evolving global economic, social, and consumer trends? The experts speak. Christian Callieri, Tory Burch: “Seeing things from a different point of view can help us understand why other people act the way they do” (Sean Covey). Ward Dingmann, Bob’s Discount Furniture: “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right” (Henry Ford). Praful Karanth, SAP: “All that we are is the result of what we have thought” (Buddha). Join us for Achieving Nirvana: Consumer Experience Meets Consumer Intimacy.

This marijuana plant-derived, non-psychoactive, natural remedy is being adapted to treat a wide variety of ailments from anxiety and pain to various seizure disorders.” We have so many questions: Is CBD Legal? Is it safe? Does CBD get you “high”? Can CBD calm anxiety, cure cancer, eliminate epileptic seizures and give insomniacs a full night’s sleep? Predictive vs Augmented Analytics: Finding the ‘Why’
The buzz: “Data is not like a vitamin that you can just pop in your mouth and be done with it. In fact, data, by itself, is totally useless to your business” (Bill Su). Data analytics is analytics, right? Not quite! Where predictive analytics uses machine learning to predict what will happen, augmented analytics uses machine intelligence to boost human intelligence with the why, so we can work faster and smarter on ever-larger datasets. Is your company positioned to parse the nuance from the noise? The experts speak. Hanno Schoklitsch, Kaiserwetter Energy Asset Management: “We can’t change the wind but we can adjust our sails” (Aristotle). Ran Merkazy, Lloyd’s Register: “The pace of change is so fast – that you will have to learn all your life” (Yuval Noah Harrari). Richard Mooney, SAP: “I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it” (George Bernard Shaw). Join us for Predictive vs Augmented Analytics: Finding the ‘Why’.

High-Tech Touchdown! Fan-Controlled Football and Future of Sports
The buzz: "Soon there will be entire American football league built on the premise that fans should be able to choose the players and coaches that make up each of the eight inaugural teams and even pick the teams' offensive plays. The innovative league is based on the belief that fans will enjoy a product that feels more like a video game than a traditional football-watching experience.” When Darren Heitner reported this in 2017 for Forbes SportsMoney, he was talking about the new Fan Controlled Football League (FCFL) powered on the Ethereum blockchain. Wow! The league ranks fans’ voting power for drafting players, picking coaches and calling the plays by the seven-on-seven teams on the field – using a new FAN Token cryptocurrency. Prognosis? We'll speak with Ray Austin and Jason Chilton of the Fan Controlled Football League, Andy Dolich of Dolich & Associates, and Carsten Winsnes at Strive Tech. Join us for High-Tech Touchdown! B2B Revenue Growth: You Need The Right Data!

Find and use the right data. The experts speak. Ramon Ray, Smart Hustle Media: “I've failed over and over and over again…And that is why I succeed" (Michael Jordan). Designing Your Design System: Steps to Success
The buzz: “Countless hours aligning components, fixing broken page layouts, and documenting interaction patterns eventually led to a design resource for teams to use.” (Jeremy Bloom). If your design team is still using traditional style guides and design templates, you’re probably not managing design at scale. Solution: a comprehensive “design system” with pre-defined approaches. Sounds great, but adoption may be slow for multiple technologies, products, business units, and teams. What to do? Start with the basics: establish a design system, understand the benefits and challenges, then use strategies for success. The experts speak. Shawn Cheris, Adobe: “If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch you must first invent the universe.” (Carl Sagan). Kai Richter, SAP: “The relevant question is not simply what shall we do tomorrow, but rather what shall we do today in order to get ready for tomorrow.” (Peter Drucker}.
